I’m Collin Lewin, an Industrial Design student in my 20s with a mechanical heart and a drive for precision. While many approach design from the surface, I’ve always been drawn to the "how"—the engineering, the CAD modeling, and the technical scans that turn a concept into a functional reality.

I created LWN Studios because I wanted to put a clear identity on my work. It’s more than just a portfolio; it’s a brand built on the belief that design should be simple and effective. Whether I’m using industrial 3D scanning to reverse-engineer a component or bringing a digital file to life on my 3D printers, LWN Studios represents my work clearly and my creativity.

That commitment to mastery led me to step into a leadership role at my university, where I lead workshops teaching the fundamentals of Autodesk Fusion 360. I’ve found that teaching others makes me relfect on how i present and explain my work, breaking something into different simple steps has helped me discover a whole new meaning to the term "explaining".

When I’m not working on a new project on paper or behind my screen, I’m usually moving. I bring a high-energy, athletic mindset to everything I do, and I’m a firm believer that the best inspiration comes from being out in the world, and observing what others do and how they interact with the objects that surround them. I’m a social soul who loves a good night out, a cold drink with friends, and the chance to meet people from completely different backgrounds. For me, the "party" and the "process" are two sides of the same coin—I design for the real world, and I make sure to enjoy every bit of it.
