3D models
Final product

This mouse was a personal design and fabrication project developed for my own use. It is powered by AA batteries and utilizes the electronic components, USB receiver, and contact pads from a wireless mouse kit. Based on these elements, I created a three-part 3D model that forms the foundation of the final build:
Base piece – houses and supports the electronic components
Central piece – secures the electronics in place
Outer shell – provides ergonomic comfort and a clean aesthetic
My design approach emphasized transparency and visual accessibility. I wanted the internal structure of the mouse to remain visible, which led me to incorporate patterned openings throughout the shell and select a white material for the interior components to create contrast and highlight the internal layout.
The final, fully functional prototype was 3D-printed using two materials: PLA for the shell and central structure, and ABS plastic for the base to ensure greater strength and durability where the electronics are mounted.
All 3D modeling and rendering were completed in Autodesk Fusion 360, from initial concept through to the finalized production files.
